With deepest sympathy we pray for Joe and his family. Joe was a long-time parishioner of St. Pius X parish. He was a loving, caring, generous and talented person who shared his love and talents with so many, including his parish. He was ready and willing to help. Fr. Tony would say, "Joe I need a platform for one of our new statues." Before you knew it, the statue was standing on the new platform. There were so many more church enhancements that were handcrafted by Joe. Thank you for sharing so much with all of us. Rest in peace true servant of the Lord.

Aunt Mary Ann, Susan and Amanda- my deepest condolences to all of you. “Uncle Chooch,” as he will always be known in our house, will always have a special place in our hearts. So many of my childhood and family memories involve time spent with your family, and his storytelling, infectious laughter and his humor are a central element. Big hugs to all of you. I’m sorry we won’t be able to make the memorial, but know that you are in our prayers. - Karen, Joe and the boys

I met Joe at Illinois Live Steamers in the mid 90's and our friendship remained strong after my husband, David, and I moved to Wisconsin Dells.
I'll never forget his big hugs and warm smiles. He is greatly missed.
Please let me know if a future memorial is planned. Suzi Riccardi and I would love to attend.

News of Joe’s passing came as quite a shock to me. Joe was a really nice guy and he and I often chatted about many things when we were at the railroad. It isn’t going to be the same without, Joe. Rest well.
