Glen was a fine man.I never heard him say an unkind word about anyone. And he was a fine electrician and electrical supervisor. Many excellent people were pensioned off early, including Glen and myself, so a greedy ComEd could cut the management ranks to DEREGULATE, and push the stock up to split in 2001. Glen and I both worked well past the age of 70, to supplement the poltry pension that 25 year employees received, at retirement. Rest in peace my friend

I worked with Glen at Commonwealth Edison for years. He was a joy to be around. He always had stories to tell. He was a very outgoing person. We had a chance to talk to each other many times even when I moved from Illinois back to my family home in Michigan. He shared his pride and joy in his grandsons, in a special way. Of course, he was deeply wounded by the loss of his wife. He was a "people person" in a major way. His various jobs were a necessity to him, but I think he valued the relationships with all the people he met. I will miss him. God bless his family.

I have always had fond memories of time spent with Glen. The last thing I remember was when he asked if I still had my Grandfather John's watch (husband to her sister). I do carry it everywhere in remembrance of them both. He also made me so proud to know and feel how his Mother Viola (sister to my Grandmother Inez) felt about me. Much love and comfort to you All.
